PRIVACY · UPDATED 7 SEPTEMBER 2026
Your catalog, your data.
Tariffa is operated by Harlem Jacobsen Holding AS, Norwegian organisation number 936 631 649, Stasjonsveien 57, 0771 Oslo, Norway. This policy describes the catalog readiness release. Contact finn@sagabuild.com with privacy questions or requests.
What the app processes
Tariffa stores your Shopify store domain, installation status, granted app permissions, and encrypted access and refresh tokens with their expiry dates. It reads and stores product and variant identifiers, titles, descriptions, SKUs, barcodes, existing HS codes, and origin countries to produce your scan and CSV export. It also keeps scan results, sync status, and limited technical event records.
The app does not request access to orders or customers. Customer details received in Shopify privacy notifications are not retained. Do not put personal or confidential information in product descriptions.
Why the data is used
Catalog data is processed to provide the scan, show missing fields, generate your export, and maintain the service. Store authentication data allows Tariffa to access the catalog you authorised. If you email support, the contents of that correspondence are used to respond to you.
Infrastructure and sharing
Tariffa uses Shopify APIs and hosting and database infrastructure on Hetzner. The catalog readiness scan does not send your products to an AI model. Tariffa does not sell catalog data or use it for advertising.
Retention and removal
Catalog records are updated when a complete sync succeeds. When you uninstall, Tariffa marks the installation inactive and stops authenticated access. Store-linked app records are removed when Shopify sends its signed shop data redaction request, unless the store has since reinstalled the app. Contact support if you want to request earlier removal or a copy of your data. Copies in infrastructure backups may remain until those backups are replaced.
Your choices and rights
You can uninstall in Shopify, export catalog data from Tariffa, and contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, receive portable data, or complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and updates
Tariffa uses an authentication state cookie during Shopify installation. Shopify manages authentication in its own admin. These public pages do not add advertising or analytics cookies. This policy will be updated if the app's data practices change.
